[KOREAN] One Shot

One Shot is the newest drinking specialized restaurant located at Christie. 

It is between Christie Station and Bathurst Station. 

This location used to be E Wang - Korean BBQ but recently closed and replaced by One Shot. 

The restaurant is really small and chairs are limited (maximum around 25 to 30 people).

One Shot does not sell typical Korean meals but mainly dishes to go with alcohol. 

It opens at 5 PM and waitresses are very polite and welcoming. 

The menu was small and it was divided into different sections and each had its individual pricing. 

Since it just opened not long ago, One Shot is having a promotion called "Golden Time". 

I received two side dishes, one corn cheese and one Oden soup for free. 

(Left) Cabbage with sesame sauce. (Right) Sausage with vegetables.
I did not enjoy the sesame sauce as much but the sausage was delicious. 

Corn Cheese - Good appetizer and the slightly burnt parts were yummy. 

Oden Soup - Extremely delicious. A lot of ingredients inside and soup base was really good.
My favourite dish from One Shot.  

I ordered Pork Rind / Pork Skin (돼지껍데기) & Fried Rice Cake with Sausage: 

Pork Rind - Very chewy and some were crispy. Unique experience but some parts were burnt.

Fried Rice Cake with Sausage - Fried rice cake was really crispy and chewy. The sausage was average.

- The floor and window area were not really clean and the walls were dirty

- Waitresses paid a lot of attention to the customers and were really polite

- Food continued to come out every 3 to 5 minutes

Atmosphere (★★☆☆☆)

- Too dark and hard to see the menu

- The smell of cooking was a bit strong

Pricing (★★★☆☆)

- Quite pricey but one section on the menu (I believe it was Section C) was cheaper 

Revisit Rate (★★★★☆)

- Food is delicious and the atmosphere is cute and friendly 

- Great service and a lot of free food
